While this book is entirely fiction, it does incorporate some of the modern history of the city of Memphis. The author has also liberally used the names of friends, family and other Memphis residents to help bring this story to life.
The book features photos of famous Memphis landmarks. While the majority of these photographs were taken by Ms. Gellhorn and her photographer, Sabrina Price, there are multiple exceptions, which are listed below, and within the book notes.
